Auburn

Auburn is a city in King County, with a small portion in Pierce County, Washington, United States. The population was 70,180 at the 2010 United States Census. Auburn is a suburb in the Seattle metropolitan area, currently ranked the fourteenth largest city in the state of Washington. Auburn is bordered by the cities of Federal Way, Pacific, and Algona to the west, Sumner to the south, Kent to the north, and unincorporated King County to the east. The Muckleshoot Indian Reservation is in or near the southern city limits.

Gig Harbor

Gig Harbor is the name of both a bay on Puget Sound and a city on its shore in Pierce County, Washington, United States. The population was 7,126 at the 2010 census. Gig Harbor is one of several cities and towns that claim to be “the gateway to the Olympic Peninsula”. Due to its close access to several states and city parks and historic waterfront that includes boutiques and fine dining, it has become a popular tourist destination. Gig Harbor is located along State Route 16, about six miles from its origin at Interstate 5, over the Tacoma Narrows Bridge. From Gig Harbor, Tacoma can be reached in just under 20 minutes and Seattle in just under an hour.

Kent

Kent is a city located in King County, Washington, United States. It’s the sixth-largest city in the state and the third-largest in the county. Kent is in the heart of the Seattle-Tacoma metropolitan area, located 19 miles south of Seattle and 19 miles northeast of Tacoma. Incorporated in 1890, it’s the second oldest incorporated city in King County, after Seattle. Kent’s population as of April 2010 was 92,411 according to the 2010 census. The total grew to an estimated 126,952 as of July 1, 2015, owing primarily to annexation.

Lacey is a city in Thurston County, Washington, United States. Established as a suburb of Olympia, its population was 42,393 at the 2010 census out of a county population of 252,264.

Puyallup

Puyallup is a city located in Pierce County, Washington, United States. It’s approximately 10 miles southeast of Tacoma and 35 miles south of Seattle. The population was 37,022 at the 2010 Census. Puyallup is named after the Puyallup Tribe of Native Americans which means “the generous people”. It’s also home to the Washington State Fair, the state’s main fair.

Tacoma

Tacoma is a mid-sized urban port city in and the the county seat of Pierce County, Washington, United States. The city is on Washington’s Puget Sound, 32 miles southwest of Seattle, 31 miles northeast of the state capital, Olympia, and 58 miles northwest of Mount Rainier National Park. The population was 198,397, according to the 2010 census. Tacoma is the second-largest city in the Puget Sound area and the third largest in the state. Tacoma also serves as the center of business activity for the South Sound region, which has a population of around 1 million.
